has
been Vice President of Harris/Ragan Management Group and Director of
its Federal government activities since 1981. He is a principal
advisor to the Sheet Metal Workers’ International Association in
Washington, D.C. As such, Mr. Butler has concentrated his activities
on providing public relations, communication innovations, and
liaison services to this major labor union for the past 15 years.
Mr. Butler has also served as the Washington
representative for the BEST Employers Association and the Foreign
Policy Association of Panama.
Mr. Butler utilizes his more than 25 years of
extensive management and administrative experience in the U.S.
Federal government in all of the engagements he undertakes for
public, private, and nonprofit entities. Mr. Butler worked in top
level positions with the Southwest Border Regional Commission, the
U.S. Departments of Commerce and Housing and Urban Development, the
American Revolution Bicentennial Administration, the U.S. Secret
Service, and the U.S. Information Agency.
Mr. Butler is a graduate of the American University and the
recipient of both the Federal government’s Distinguished Service
Award and the Sustained Superior Performance Award.
